In celebration of the tenth anniversary of first world conference on animal law, the second world conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on July 11 and 12, 2014. Professors of law from around the world and other speakers will share their thoughts on and experiences writing and teaching about animal issues. The country-specific cultural context of animal issues will be explored, as will universal policy issues.

Participants will have the important opportunity to join the international network of attorneys who care about and act on behalf of animals. Learning about other countries, their cultures, animal issues, and legal approaches will provide insight and inspiration to all. Teaching, enhancing animal welfare, and exploring paths to animal rights all will be under consideration.
