UK: Life of badgers will be spared

Badgers just won a battle in UK: after years of debate, the British Government has decided last Thursday that the eradication campaign will not be extended to badgers. Unfortunately, badgers are often considered as pest species and are accused to spread the Bovine Tuberculosis (TB)

FOUR PAWS believes that  badger cull is bad for farmers, bad for taxpayers and bad for wildlife. FOUR PAWS supports the Queen legend Brian May’s e-petition to help stop the killing of these vulnerable animals (http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/38257).
